something i learnt

this is your recently-MIA captain speaking hah... sorry guys... lessons end really late for me... and i had a personal issue on sat... and later's training? there's a freaking compulsary lecture at 730pm... wtf.

anyway i'm kinda busy in school now cos of Inter-Class Games... and just something i think i should share with u peeps that happened to me just now...

i was playing mixed doubles in badminton for my class and before the game i was pretty confident that it was a done deal... plus... the scoreline was 2 games to 2 so the game i was playing in was to be the tie-breaker...

needless to say i screwed it up.

totally lost track of my normal gameplay... missed shots that i wasn't supposed to... what could go wrong went wrong... what should have been an easy game was lost because of my errors...

what went wrong?

for one... being too anxious to kill the game off quickly was one of the factors... secondly... the hint of complacency was another major killer... thirdly... the stress factor because it was the decider...

what i'm trying to get at is that we face these problems when we play our games... we ARE a GOOD TEAM and at times we are so anxious to prove it that we rush things even when we don't have to... just sticking to the normal gameplay would have been sufficient... keep your cool guys... enjoy the game!

maybe should let u all play badminton... then u will understand haahaa!

train hard guys!

(p.s. your fat captain has shed 6kg since entering NIE. woohoo!)
